Another NS Death

I don't know much about National Services in other countries, but one thing I am pretty sure is that our Malaysian National Service has some very negligent management. Another death is added into the record where Mohd Rafi Ameer died due to fever.
According to TheStar:-

..he (Mohd Rafi)had fever and that his leg had been swollen for nearly a week after he fell during training.
I am not sure how often in our modern world people are still dying due to fever, but I am hell of a sure that this can be avoided and death are only due to human negligence. According to Wikipedia, since the launch of NS in the year 2003, 7 deaths has been reported so far.
According to Wikipedia:-
Nurul Ashikin Karino, 17, died on 14th May at the Han Sui, Tawau, Sabah camp. Karino Jalani (father of the deceased) claimed that he was not allowed to meet his daughter who fell and was injured as part of a training accident
Why? Why isn't she allowed to see her parents? Why isn't she discharged? Are National Service National Service or is it a jail? Those are children in there and they aren't supposed to be treated like this. They are still children for god sake, how can we deny them of their rights? How are parents going to have a good night sleep when their children are in the National Service.

With so many deaths reported throughout the years that are actually avoidable, I am wondering when will this thing be taken to light and actions being done by our government. How many more deaths are needed? It isn't just accidents we are talking about here, It is negligence, murder and denial of rights, someone needs to take responsibilities and put into account.
